Bug shit tea. Slugs eat tea leaves and poop them out and the poop is collected for tea. I am not joking, got some from Chawangshop a while back. I didn’t like it.

I guess the most unusual is Hawaiian rain-forest white tea. Not that unusual compared to some, but it was awesome!

I don’t know if this counts as unusual, but I’ve always thought the idea of shou puer was odd. It’s tea that’s been decomposed for 45 days. And then aged.

I really liked the Tai Pei Hou Kui – I got it as a sample from a family that grow some of my other teas in China. It is a green tea and looks unlike any other tea with its massive leaves.
