Coffee & Tea Festival NYC

Hello! I was thinking about going to the Coffee & Tea festival in NYC this year. I went to the Philly one last year and I enjoyed it. I heard the NYC one is VERY crowded though, and I notice there are definitely some repeats of vendors. I saw they are selling VIP tickets that let you in 2 hours earlier so I would probably do that if I went.

Is anyone planning on going or has been before? Unfortunately since I’m in Florida I’d have to travel out of state to go :(

I’ve heard its majorly a coffee and English style tea setting. It’s also very very crowded.

The one I went to in Philly wasn’t really an English style tea setting. It was more like random tea samples throughout. I will admit it was lacking on the pu-erh department.

Last year the NYC one had no puerh cakes at all. Two years ago there was a vendor selling puerh cakes. It is definitely more towards the Western Brewing of tea but there are certainly a fair number of teas for sale that you could do gongfu. A lot of samples all brewed western. Not sure if I am going this year or not.

How crowded was it when you went? It was at the Brookyln Expo center right?
