I was hoping that everyone still interested would reply here, and tell me if you need 50g, 100g, or are willing to do 200g. Just to get an accurate count of who is still interested.
200g if we need to make the order, but will share if someone else joins.
I am willing to take 200g myself but we need a couple more people to commit. We are up to 750g.
Also, once I get these I was going to ship in medium flat rate boxes. I am certain that the people ordering 100g quantities this will fit. If people prefer I don’t use flat rate boxes then I would have to charge a small amount for purchasing boxes. So by the time the box is paid for it may not be much less. Staples sells boxes for 99 cents if you buy five or more of a specific size but I cannot be sure they will have the correct sizes in stock.

Ok, so far four people have sent me money. Just waiting on a couple more people and for this money to be available in my Paypal balance. I think that takes a day but I don’t know as this is the first group buy I have run. If all goes well I will put in the order late tomorrow when I get home from work at 10:30 pm. Once they have shipped the order I will give you the tracking number as well.
Ok, six people have sent me money and I am just waiting I think on two more and for that money to be available to me. Not sure when that money will show up in my Paypal balance.
I think now everyone but one person has sent money. I am still hoping to put in the order tomorrow if the money is available in my paypal balance.
Still waiting on sensiblyscript and Kaylee. Have you lost interest? If so I can open this up to more participants but would rather not. This is after all an incredible bargain where you are paying $5 per 100g of tea.

I have been cleaning up after a horrible storm hit. Do you still have me with 100 grams?
Is anyone in this buy not located in the USA? I can ship to Canada or elsewhere but it will be expensive.
The order was placed. I have to wait for them to verify my credit card. They do not take Paypal. Also, the final transaction was in Spanish. I hope I got it right as I have not used Spanish in thirty years. If my bank turns down the transaction I will try again.
I will let you know when they ship. I assume there will be a tracking number. If anyone speaks Spanish I would like to forward some emails that are in Spanish so you can tell me what they say.
At this point I am waiting on an email that says they have shipped. I don’t know how fast they ship but it seems to me it should be today or tomorrow.
I had hoped to receive a shipping confirmation by now but nothing yet. I think Colombia is an hour or two earlier than New York so there is still time that they might ship out today. I have no idea how busy they are. After all they only sell six teas their orders can’t be very complicated.
I received an email back from them. Shipping will take a week. But more disturbing was that he said he “would send a link for online payment”. I sent him an email back telling him I had already paid in full. I do not know if they did not charge my card or are trying to tack on an extra payment. I am waiting for the man’s reply. Just now got home and sent him an email questioning him.
Had to call my bank.The man from Bitico said they hadn’t been paid yet. My bank said the transaction was approved but was pending. In other words the bank has not yet paid them but will soon from what the guy at the bank said. There seems to be a problem with the transaction being international. Although this never happens when I order from China.
The delay is possibly because your bank has to abide by transaction screening requirements to ensure the funds don’t support narcotics trafficking – OFAC.
That is a plausible reason. There are some drugs that come from Colombia. Colombian tea is an unusual thing.
I guess for their incredibly cheap price you don’t get fast service. They still have not shipped. I have not heard back from them after my email where I told him the bank told me the payment was approved but pending.
Since they are a small shop they might also have a small bank to process their payments.
Glad you guys found enough people to make the group buy! I’ll be interested to hear how you like the teas.
Sent them an email asking about the status of the order, hopefully they will ship tomorrow.
They replied to the email saying they had been paid and would ship the order tomorrow via DHL. Shipping should only be I imagine about three days via DHL but I have never used DHL so I can’t be sure.
I did not yet receive notice that they shipped. But if they shipped when they said they would it could arrive tomorrow or Monday. I sent an email asking for a tracking number and hopefully he will respond tomorrow.
Ok, I was emailed a DHL tracking number and it says it will be delivered on May 17. It requires a signature and I will be working the late shift that day. With luck they will try to deliver in the morning. Otherwise I imagine they make a second delivery attempt. I don’t know how DHL operates. UPS would make three delivery attempts.
Ok I just got the package about five minutes ago. I have not even opened it yet. I will be busy with work for the next two days but should have time to distribute the teas into smaller packages on Friday and Saturday and with any luck ship out on Monday. I will let everyone know what they owe for domestic shipping once I figure out the exact cost. For those who ordered 100g and 150g amounts I was planning on using medium flat rate boxes from USPS. I do have a few small boxes probably enough for those who ordered 50g so the shipping cost for them would be a little less. With any luck I will get these all shipped out on Monday.
Cool, that is an excellent idea. With any luck I will get this all taken care of and shipped by Monday.
