Tea and music

One of my favorite bits of tea music is “Cup of Brown Joy” by Elemental. There’s a really wonderful Steampunk video for it, too. I suspect most folks here would enjoy it greatly.

This is a great topic. Here are four fitting tea tunes:

Bishop Allen – Tea For Two
Paul McCartney – English Tea
Nirvana – Pennyroyal Tea (Live)
Belle & Sebastian – For The Price Of A Cup Of Tea

Oh, I love “Cup of Brown Joy,” thanks for the reminder!

My mother-in-law composes music, and for my husband’s an my recessional at our wedding she worked up a medley of songs that represented each and both of us. One of the songs for me was “tea for two.” :)

I’m partial to “Take My Sugar to Tea” by Leon Redbone; it’s a little perkier than this Nat King Cole version:

I was waiting for LeafTeaBox to post this.

The Kinks – Have a cuppa tea

I prefer their link since I can read about tea at the same time but if you like YouTube… Either way, it is a fun tune.
