The ideal sample size for tea?

Hi here is Ning-Ning from teabento (https://teabento.com/en/).
I want to thank you all for your interest in our new shop. Your feedback give us the motivation to do better!

Currently we are working on a new sample box for everyone who would like to try different teas in small amout in order to get a first impression. We are going to offer a box of x, but we are still not sure about the number of the teas and the size of the single sample. 4g, 5g, 8g or variable size depending on the tea?
A. 5 x10g >> 50g set
B. 10x 4-8g >> 60-70g set, more teas to try but costs a little bit more

Any suggestions and ideas are welcome ;) Many thanks in advance.

I like 4-5g the best, but wouldn’t be opposed to 8-10g. I use 1 tsp (1-2g) per cup.

I would say at least 10g. I use 4-10g per session depending on the tea.

I’d agree with tperez, 10g is a good size. I usually start with 5-6g per session, so 10g theoretically gives me a chance to try a tea in two different brewing methods.

I also think 8-10g.
Good luck with your shop!

Thank you all! 8-10g seems to be a reasonable size for a small sample. I’ll let you know as soon as the new sample box is available.
