There’s not much transparency when it comes to buying jasmine tea online. It’s easy to notice the quality of raw material, but the processing really matters. I suggest to go for a budget jasmine if you like a strong taste. If you want something more mild with more pronounced jasmine scents, it’s better to go for jasmine teas that consists of green tea buds. Jasmine silver needle white teas are also really worth to try.

I second the jasmine silver needles recommendation. IMO, they have the purest, cleanest jasmine flavor of all jasmine teas.

Oh, thank you for your suggestion!

I like vendors that sell a few different types of jasmine tea. Some are too strong or fake tasting, like teasenz says they can taste quite different

I don’t know why, but Jasmine is the most popular tea in my hometown Peking and is also one of my favorite teas! So we do offer different kinds of jasmine teas which are all natural scented without any additives. A good jasmine tea for me should be subtly sweet and highly fragrant, pairing up with the original taste of the based tea leaves.

If you can wait a bit, I’m going to be launching a whole line of very high quality jasmine tea in the next week or so :-)

Sorry, I am afraid that it’s too late. But still looking forward to your tea!

This jasmine black tea from Vietnam is exceptional (link following). I’ve tried commercial versions of jasmine black tea in Indonesia, where it’s a common type, and like those, but this version is much, much better. I liked Chinese jasmine green teas when I started into loose tea awhile back but a shift in a range of preferences makes them generally undrinkable to me now. It’s not as if I’m on a higher level or anything like that, people just tend to experience changes in what they like:
