How long First Flush Mao Feng Yunnan Green Tea 2017 will keep fresh?
In the Spring I bought a bag of First Flush Mao Feng Yunnan Green Tea 2017 from Yunnan Sourcing. It’s 50g. I just open the bag today.
How long before this tea goes bad? I was reading that green tea does not keep well like black tea.

ive seen some people put green and nuclear green TGY in the fridge…..
id say green tea (properly sealed) will last for a year and still be quite fresh

You’ll be good with that tea til Spring 2018, no problem. Keep it sealed and out of light. I have successfully kept some green teas from that province flavorful for 2 yrs. Yes, there will be some decline in aromatics and sweeter flavors, but the the tea will not go bad. Enjoy!
