Suger, Milk or not?

Strange enough as it is, you should try honey. I was suggested by my friend to do so and at first I thought it was quite ridiculous until I tried it myself. It adds a bit of sweetness. Despite this, I rarely do this because I prefer my tea to taste natural with just water. But if I feel a little extra, I wouldn’t hesitate to add a bit of milk. I never add sugar, don’t really see the point when the milk I use does the job (And is much more healthier too)

The only thing that goes in any of my teas is water. Each to their own though…

While, for the most part, I leave my teas alone (just tea leaves and water), sugar sometimes enhances the understated flavors in certain teas. It’s worth a try.

Straight tea drinker – especially green teas.
Sometimes I will add a bit of honey or unrefined sugar to a black tea, and I have been known to make chai with both milk and sweetener.

I don’t add anything to my tea, other than water. I used to put honey in my tea when I was sick but I find it better to just squeeze the honey directly down my throat for that use case.

I like to add a bit of rock sugar in most cases. It sweetens without changing the flavour of the tea… unlike white sugar. I also like to add a touch of cream to black tea… I mean a touch too… less than an 1/8 tsp. Just enough to give it a mellow note.
