DIY Tea Advent Calendar
I’m looking for someone within US who would be up to making their own Tea Advent Calendar and swapping it with mine :) It can be simple like little bags with 24 numbers. Only loose leaf tea, please :) I could swap with 3 people.
This sounds like fun! What are you thinking as far as format, amount of tea, timeline, etc?
I was thinking little bags or envelopes easy to send and tea for 1 or 2 cups per day (I usually use DavidsTea 16oz cup and their perfect spoon for measuring). I’m guessing it should be sent out latest by mid November to be sure to get it on time. I’m also open to suggestions/wishes :)
1-2 servings per day sounds like a good idea to me! And mid-November makes sense. I think it would be nice if we set something up where people could PM the person sending their advent calendar with a bit of information about their preferences and any allergies.

I agree; it would be fun to get a group together! I’m willing to organize getting everyone matched up with a partner, unless Tlovesgreentea wants to, since it was their idea.
Inkling, I wouldn’t mind you matching up people if more people will get interested in it, but I would still like to send mine to 2-3 people.
@Tlovesgreentea So you are interested in sending and receiving multiple advent calendars? Guess I wasn’t clear on what you had in mind; I was thinking 1 each. If more than 3 people are interested, would you still want to swap with everyone?
Yes, I would like to send and receive up to 3 advent calendars, not more, and USA only.
I already got my box to put the teas in……and am starting to set aside the ones I want to put in :)
This is going to be fun! To give everyone time to put their calendars together and get the in the mail by mid-November, I’m thinking we should get partners assigned within the next couple of weeks. So if anyone else wants to join in, please let us know by October 15th!
Yes definitely! that timeline sounds good. I think maybe we should all say what flavors we prefer, so that we can be matched to someone who has stuff that we like, that way no one has to go out and purchase a ton of teas that they won’t drink. i.e.: if my parter likes stuff that is fruity- I dont have many fruity teas. I more like pumpkin, spice, nuts, marshmallow/vanilla, baked goods/dessert etc. so thats what my tea collection is made up of lol
also- I’m pregnant with baby #2 so I’m trying to stay away from caffeine, so id ask for herbal/rooibos/honeybush/decaf blends :) maybe others have a preference like that as well. although I do have a ton of caffeinated stuff so you guys dont have to worry haha if you are into caffeine i got it covered
