Black tea vs Green tea

I love both, but if I must choose, black tea for me. Individual green teas are great, but I love black teas more.

“green tea is more healthier than black tea”
You make this statement as if it was a proven fact.
It is not.

I drink green 90% of the time and not just because it’s healthier for me (although that’s a bonus). I drink it because I LOVE it! There are some black teas I also love that have chocolate notes but rarely drink them. Why? The caffeine punch. One black tea equals about 2 or 3 green. Black tea stains teeth (and cups) pretty fast too.

I drink mainly Japanese greens, but I love a good Darjeeling!

I prefer green tea over black tea as it helps me a lot on weight loss. I’ve also tried black tea in the past. But i’m sure green tea lovers are more in the world particularly in India than black tea.

I like green Tea personally!

I’ve started drinking a lot more green tea since I got into the business. Perhaps it had to do with the quality of green tea I was procuring in the past. And in my own personal experience, I’ve found a cup of green tea to do wonders after a heavy meal.

Though you can’t go wrong with a quality FF Darjeeling, or a SF malty Assam! I’d say I end up drinking both types in equal amount.

I prefer black tea because it tends to have a very bold profile and pairs well with most flavors. Ceylon, Assam, Darjeeling— all fine by me!

i love both. it all depends on mood. sometimes memories.
oddly, i don’t sweeten green tea if it is served in very small cups. my parents wouldn’t allow me to sweeten green tea, and they served it in small cups.
i drink green, black and white teas. i drink tisanes as well.

Green, but I like black once in awhile.
