Tea Newbie Asking for Advice

I recommend being true to your own tastes. Find what you enjoy even if it is not popular or if it is frowned upon by others. The biggest step I took on my tea journey was to give up on gong fu style brewing. I did gong fu because it is generally considered “the way” to go but it always tasted as if something was missing. “Lonely” is the word which to me best describes the taste of gong fu.
