Hello to all. As I can see we all agree in the fact that Wuyi Origin sells the highest quality tea that we can find outside China. What of the teas are your favourity is question of tastes and preferences.
But what I want to emphasize is that:
1. It’s our responsability as consumers to alow the growth of his bussiness in occidental countries. Otherwise, where do we can find tha quality teas from Wuyi and Dancong at this competitive price? We must spread it’s quality with tea lovers. And we will all win.
2. Must of us think as occidental people. When we meet occidental sellers we we meet the tastes of people from the west. But… What are China people thinking? What do they drink? What do they think about us? Do they sell to us their best teas?
3. Cindy Chen is chinese. In addition she is a farmer, not a simple seller. Even more, she is an outstanding tea producer in China. And if that was not enough she is honest, intelligent, and she learned english so she can teach us a lot of things about tea.

So let’s spread the treasure we found. The best way is to recommend her teas and buy a lot of she’s wonderful tea.

I did an interview post with Cindy talking about making those teas, two years ago now; surely I’d have a different perspective on things and ask slightly different questions now. It still might be of interest, since on her side her input wasn’t based on as limited a background:

She had shared lots of pictures and videos about making tea so I did a post on sharing those earlier this year. To be more transparent, I have bought tea from Cindy, but she does also share samples for review with me without charging for those, so I’m not representing myself as an unbiased neutral party. I consider her a friend, even though we’ve not yet actually met, and per my take she’s one of the purest souls I’ve come in contact with related to an interest in tea. Those other pictures and videos:

I discovered Cindy’s teas this Spring. Really great quality for a good price. My favourite oolongs included 2017 Spring Mi Lan Xiang from old bushes (the most powerful tea aroma), 2010 aged Tieluohan (good chaqi) and 2017 Qilan.

I also enjoyed 2017 Lapsang Souchong. 2011 Shoumei white tea cake didn’t look good, but the taste was sophisticated and light.

I wish I had bought the Shoumei cake, I bought the 2009 Bai Mudan cake and it is not very good, though perhaps it will improve with some clean storage.

The other teas I got have been great so far though.

2016 Advanced Bai Mu Dan has tons of character with a long finish of cotton candy fruit. Best white I’ve ever had. Everything has been terrific with 2017 Ya Shi, 2013 Laocong Shui Xian, 2016 Bai Ji Guan worth a special mention. I have more on the way from Cindy. She has been very nice and responsive!

right now they have the deal where if you spend $150, they’ll gift you 50g of tea…

it prompted me to make my first purchase with them 3 days ago QQ

offer ends 9/1

Oh man, I really don’t need to spend $150. I was very happy with (almost) every tea that I bought last time, some of the best Wuyi oolongs I’ve had.

Where is that deal? I couldn’t find it on their website. I’ve not ordered from them before. Thank you.
