Best non-sour Fruit tea?

I’m looking for a good non-sour fruit tea, think Mango Fruit Punch or Forever Nuts by DavidsTea,and Peach Tranquility by Teavana. They’re all good but fairly expensive and I am looking for alternatives. I am looking for juicy, sweet blends to mix in with my straight tea for a clean hint of fruit. I want to avoid the sourness tended by fruit tea as much as possible. Thank you!

You should check out Lucpicia. They have fruity teas and doesn’t cost as much in my opinion.

I generally find that any fruit blend with strawberry as a main ingredient is sweet. Teavana’s Strawberry Lemonade and various strawberry kiwi fruit blends fall into that category. Upton used to have a Turkish Apple that wasn’t sour, but I don’t think they have it now, though I have seen other Turkish Apples through googling.

Hmm, I’ll have to do some googling!

Avoid anything containing hibiscus. This is a pretty common base for most red-fruit tea blends, and is tart and unpleasant.

I don’t know if they still have it in stock, but Davids Tea had Rainbow Sherbet. My kids became all but addicted to it this summer – there is something just mouth wateringly juicy about it! We only had it on its own, but I think it would be good mixed with some straight tea. It also had a pretty strong flavor, so you wouldn’t need to use too much of it.

Sadly DT isn’t carrying Rainbow Sherbet anymore – it was exclusive for the summer, but it’ll definitely be missed!

Cotton Candy and Magic Dragon are two of my favorite herbals to make iced tea from. I do not remember any sour notes. Cotton Candy is something David’s Tea has brought back for the season, Magic Dragon is a regular item.

Cotton Candy is actually a core tea now! It came back as a regular part of DT’s collection in June of this year. You’re totally right though; it’s definitely not tart at all – just a sweet flavour with some slight mango/hazelnut.

The Magic Dragon might be a bit more iffy though; it does contain hibiscus in it and even though I personally think it’s pretty sweet some people do pick up on the hibiscus in the blend quite clearly. Just a personal preference/taste thing, though.

I never noticed the Hibiscus but maybe that is because I always cold brew it.

At the moment my favourite is probably Dammann Frere’s Carcadet Fraise Pistache – it’s a pretty sweet/syrupy Strawberry Pistachio flavoured herbal, which I promise isn’t as weird as it sounds. It does have some hibiscus in it if that’s something you’re trying at avoid, though.

It’s also only sold in 100g quantities, but the pricing it quite affordable for the quantity it’s sold in.
