Breville One Touch Tea Maker~
So I got this baby a year ago and I have been cleaning it regularly.
Everyday I make tea so I clean it about every other week. I get the kettle clean, but my problem is the basket.
I’ve tried with soapy water and i know it’s dishwasher safe, but I’m having hard time with certain stains with it. Gah!!!!

As far as home remedies, you could try soaking it in baking soda and water and then scrubbing it with baking soda and a damp paper towel.

Mine is quite old — I got it right when the first model came out, I think. I have a stain problem on the basket as well, but I haven’t really bothered to try to get the stains off. I figured they’re just a mark of use. Do I need to get them off?
I use a mr clean magic eraser. It works incredibly well for both the kettle and the basket.
I’ve been using baking soda and lemon juice and a cheap tooth brush(bought and used just for cleaning the basket).
Sprinkle the baking soda on the basket and squeeze a little bit of lemon into the kettle with some water. I usually put it on boiling and to steep for 10 minutes. It brushes right off!
A paste of baking soda and water works great on glass. Denture tablets are also effective at removing stains.
Baking soda and vinegar is like an expensive miracle product.
Ha ha ! Yes! I use that combo to clean my oven and it even cleaned my new, white, carpet when the kitchen drain pipe broke and spilled decades old sludge! (Even resolve didn’t work)
