Infinity Jars

Has anybody purchased these jars?
The site says that they are light, air, and scent proof.

I’m thinking of buying some and was wondering if anybody has them.

Can you list the site? I am curious as to why they call them Infinity Jars? Do they claim to make your teas last longer or are they really huge and they feel they can hold an infinite amount of tea.

Done!!

Now that I see them I see they are glass that is light proof black colored. They also seem very expensive to use as a tea tin. I sort of doubt you will get longer storage of tea than in a light proof air tight metal tea caddy. Also, glass breaks easily which is another down point to them. If you accidentally drop a metal jar nothing breaks. As far as smell proof this shouldn’t matter as tea should be stored away from strong odors anyway. I don’t know if metal tins are smell proof. The cardinal rule is don’t store your tea next to your spices.

That’s true. I just like them(the old fashioned ones) cause you can leave it out on the counter instead of putting them away.

I think you can buy a pack of 12 canning jars and a bottle of paint for less than one of those jars and get pretty much the same result.

True!! XD

This type of glass is more commonly known as Miron glass. I use it to store essential oils. I know people who have done experiments with putting herbs in these jars and left them in summer sun for extended periods and the jars did protect the herbs. I love this stuff and plan on buying a bunch of Miron glass for my tea collection. There are some amazing things this glass does energetically to the qi of whatever is stored in them (if you believe in that kind of thing).

I recommend shopping around a bit because this stuff is expensive.
