I have made four posts since I was able to get back onto Steepster and they have all disappeared as far as I can tell. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, from what I saw, the site was frozen for 3 days. The only post I made vanished too.

Now the first 3-4 pages are flooded with spam.
