Tea subscription boxes?

I recently subscribed to the Field to Cup tea explorer kit and really enjoy it!

Nobody else I know subscribes to any, so I was hoping to have a thread for anyone else who subscribes (or is interested in subscribing) to a tea box. :)

I’ve been subscribed to Sipsby for a couple of months and I enjoyed it. My only complaint is I feel like since everything is individually wrapped it produces a lot of waste. For this reason I am switching over to the bluebird subscription box- I’ll let you know what I think when I get it in!(:

I have never heard of sipsy I will have to check it out! And yes, please let me know about Bluebird- I havent heard of that either and subscription boxes have become a guilty pleasure of mine, so I am always looking for new ones.

I feel the same way about Field to Cup, there is so much packaging I feel a little guilty about receiving it. But I guess I don’t know how else they could send it.

I have subscribed to Teabox subscription box. https://www.teabox.com/
I love the tea and the packaging,

from the website: Teabox is an online tea shop that delivers, every single day, the freshest Indian teas from estates in Darjeeling, Assam, and the Nilgiris as well as freshest teas from Nepal to tea lovers everywhere.

As a company, we believe tea is so much more than just a staple part of mornings and meals. An exceptional cup of tea, for us, has a more exalted place in the everyday life.

I highly recommend this subscription box, although it is a bit expensive, you get a lot of tea.

I had not heard of that one before either! Thank you for the recommendation.

Sips by has quite a few brand partners and tailor their monthly boxes to your preferences.

I’ve seen a few new ones crop up on IG as well. The Tea Hive is one of them I believe. Another one that is evading me right now! Also, some vendors (What-Cha) have a monthly box if I am not mistaken. Heard good things about them too!

I’m also subscribed to Sipsby, and I like it. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it though, because I have cough a number of teas. I do like that they customize to your preferences and are quick to correct any problems with your boxes. for example, my first box was half tea-bags, even though I specifically asked for none and without me emailing them (but maybe they saw my passive aggressive IG post that I made for my five friends? still trying to figure it out) they sent an email apologizing and gave me a discount for the next box, which was nice and unexpected. I was just planning on giving those tea-bags to ladies at work, like the first box was 5 whole dollars, I wasn’t mad (but slightly disappointed).

a few years ago I also subscribed to NM Tea Company’s ‘tea of the month’ club, it was when they first started it and it was nice. I think the way they do the subscriptions is different now. I try to support semi-local businesses when I can (Sipsby is based in Austin, NM Tea Co is in Albuquerque…and I live closer to ABQ than Austin, but shrugs)

I’ve subscribed to Simple Loose Leaf and Amoda in the past. I greatly enjoyed both; I only stopped because I couldn’t drink the teas fast enough in addition to my regular collection and they were starting to pile up. I think I enjoyed the flavors in Amoda slightly better (they work with a variety of vendors) but SLL was also quite tasty and has brilliant packaging.

I’ve been sharing the Eco-cha box with a friend for about a year and a half now, and just started experimenting with the white2tea box a month ago.

The Eco-cha club is really consistently great Taiwanese oolongs, though on rare occasion they throw in a black tea which isn’t really to my taste. And it’s just wonderful that it motivates me and my friend to get together and catch up over tea every month!

The white2tea club has more variety and is more interesting, but it’s also more hit-or-miss for me – I personally liked the January box but not the February one. So far I’m finding that fun (like whatevs, the heicha this month wasn’t for me, so I gave it to my brother and he’ll enjoy it :), but we’ll see how it goes after a few more months.

I have heard of almost none of these and I was so sure that I did a lot of research before signing up for Field to Cup! :O

Oolongs are my face thank you so much @fidgetiest!
I will have to shop around, I do feel like FTC sends herbals a lot which I am not as fond of.
