The best Earl Grey loose-leaf tea brand

The best version that I’ve tried, of course only according to my preference and opinion, was from Hatvala, a Vietnamese source: http://drinksbeansandleaves.com/Vietnamese-Tea/Vietnam-flavour-tea/Wild-Earl-Grey-Tea?tok=e7a10c6ad7b5

Their jasmine black tea is even better. It’s a completely different thing, I just mention it because it wouldn’t be familiar to many (that general type) but to me it works better than the citrus and black tea combination, even though I don’t really care for jasmine green tea at this point.

I tried an interesting version of Earl Grey from Cordon Bleu before, the French cooking school. It was really intense, with the bergamot dialed up to right at the upper limit of what someone could tolerate. In a sense that worked well, a much stronger than average version, but of course the character of the black tea didn’t really come across at all.
