What's most similar to Teavana's Javavana Mate

I need a strong dose of caffeine in the morning and am having a hard time finding a substitute for Teavana’s Javavana Mate. Any suggestions on a similar flavor?

A quick search yielded someone’s recreation: http://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.html?blend=136130

I can’t say I ever had Javavana mate, but I’ve had this and it might scratch that itch for mate+coffee+chocolate: https://www.davidstea.com/us_en/tea/jumpy-monkey/10074US01VAR0012979.html.

If you’re after caffeine, maybe you could try matcha in the morning?

I’ve never tried JavaVana Mate before but just looking at the ingredients it seems somewhat similar to both of DAVIDsTEA’s Coffee infused tea blends: Jumpy Monkey and Coffee Pu’erh. Possibly worth a glance?

I’ve had both DT blends. Jumpy Monkey is sweeter, creamier and more dessert like overall while the Coffee Pu’erh is a little more robust/has a stronger coffee taste in general, and an almost boozey amaretto quality.

(Also in the interest of disclosure I work at DAVIDsTEA.)

GUESS WHAT. I read the name of this tea and even before reading the description of the Teavana I thought of Tealyra.com’s Mate Java Espresso. They do seem similar though I’m not guaranteeing it. AND Tealyra still sells it. (It has been a favorite tea of mine for years.)

I was a big fan of Teavana’s JavaMate also. I have tried Adagio’s blend, and it’s a poor substitute with a different flavor profile.
Based on these suggestions, I just ordered some of the Coffee Pu’erh. We’ll see how that one compares.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I am so sad and really missing my mate. I tried Adagio’s and it is way too nutty. I will definitely buying some of these suggestions.
