They actually sell tea cigarettes in China. Someone featured them here. Presumably they have no effect other than bothering your lungs or they would be popular.

From a purely medicinal and meditative perspective this sounds like it could be a wonderful experience. Tea in itself can be such a conscious ritual, adding cannabis to that experience might be a truly introspective journey for some. Responsibly of course, not talking about slugging back a 32 ounce big gulp and hitting the town.

That’s what it is about!

There is no reason or need to censor …
;)

I’m gonna go ahead and disagree.
“adding cannabis to that experience might be a truly introspective journey for some.”

Maybe it is but that has nothing to do with the experience of tea. None whatsoever. Adding cannabis to tea is just another excuse for pot-heads to get high.

A connoisseur of anything want to keep his/her head as clear as possible to better experience the flavor and aroma. Anything that chemically affects your mental state will impair this ability (which is a problem that serious wine and whisky enthusiasts struggle with by definition).

I am not calling for censorship here but I personally see no connection between this topic and the serious appreciation of tea. None.

I agree with Tea For Steve. However, it will not be an introspective journey for very many, they will just be wasted and high and not be able to think straight about anything.

good thing this is a tea forum….bc many people are misinformed about the plant in question…..

AllanK said

I am very well informed about the plant in question and my informed opinion is that it is a dangerous drug that should not have been legalized anywhere. It may have a few legitimate medical uses but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still dangerous.

and as such, hopefully this goes back to being a tea forum and the topic of cannabis use stays over on the cannabis forums where I’m sure this has already been discussed ad nauseam.
