2018 Teas

Sounds like Taiwan Sourcing is worth it then. When they have some new 2018 teas posted I might try some.

google is your best friend . keywords " tea you need" “country comes from” , don’t finish search on 5th or 10th page, combine / change keywords. You’ll be surprised how many direct vendors are around. High price doesn’t have to be related always with higher quality. You don’t know vendor’s expenses. Does vendor sitting there in shop and packing the parcels him self or hiring/ paying some people to do it? Does he/she live in country where tea comes from or fly there few times per year? (flights are not cheap)
How to compare the quality? Just buy exactly same tea from many vendors, make your own decision.
Simple logic apply can solve many mysteries :-)
From what I follow , due to high competition of direct sellers is even hard to sell tea from other provinces in China, not mentioning from other countries. The tea world is so competitive that many vendors offering some free vouchers to new customers or some massive discounts , just to get an attention.
So, relax, sit back, go up on your favorite search engine and do you “homework”…I guarantee u, it’s worth it.

I have tried Borntea recently, their Oolong is my fav. In my honest opinion, I think it’s better than Yunnan sourcing (i did a comparison with David a while ago). It’s value from money. (though I think their size per pack is a bit small).
