That would mean I’d have to go outside… and it’s scary out there!

I don’t know that I would specifically travel for tea, but I would definitely try to experience tea if I were traveling. But, the amusing thing here… I’ve ordered 250g of tea from a place in Sweden (online), yet I haven’t visited the local tea shop two miles down the road. It’s a little hypocritical.

What tea place is this Dylan? Im Swede and would love to try some swedish tea! Well Swede, german, and Irish but yeah.

The Tea Center of Stockholm, http://www.theteacentre.se/, Söderblandning was recommend to me because I enjoy cinnamon orange. The prices were very reasonable, so I ordered some (I actually ordered some that came in cute little tins).

Mind you, I haven’t actually received the tea yet. :)

I don’t travel specifically for tea but I definitely try any local tea and experience different tea cultures while I’m on my trips. My next trip will hopefully be to Japan (mostly) because I have a friend living there…. I just will have to budget like $1,000 and take an extra suitcase for all things tea while I’m there. Oh well.

i travel a lot for work and try to visit teas houses on those trips. Lived in japan for 12 years and travel there 4 times a year. Taiwan about twice a year and China twice a year.

I don’t travel for tea because I can’t afford to travel just for tea, but when I do travel I make it a point to search out tea rooms and tea shops wherever I am.

If I had the money and leisure time, sure- why not? I live in Vegas and one time I stayed at a hotel and took the hotel shuttle to the Strip just to go to Teavana, then took the shuttle back to the hotel. That’s the most trouble I’ve gone through for tea!
