New VIT (Very Important Tea): Forest Berry Silver Needle
Here’s another Very Important Tea. Ultra-premium Silver Needle white tea blended with freeze dried strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. I don’t think any other blender would dare to tamper with as exquisite a white tea as this, but we’re not any other blender.
This is an extremely limited edition blend, and I have a feeling it’s going to go fast, especially at this price. Can’t wait to see your reviews of this one.

Sorry, but I’m afraid by the time I pay for the shipping, product and packaging costs, and credit card/Paypal charges, it just doesn’t make any sense to offer half an ounce. Maybe you can find someone to split it with?

Gosh, this sounds right up my alley… But alas, it’s out of bounds. Partly I’m not allowed to buy anything ( anything! Not even books! ARGH!) until after the wedding and partly because of the tax and customs issue. I think there’s been some kind of change in procedure or something because in the last year of so, the extra import fee has stopped being an acceptable risk and turned into something I avoid only if I’m lucky… It’s rarely really worth it anymore. :(
that’s a bummer! What about like if a friend sends something to you, do you still have a large custom fee? If they sent it as a gift?
I don’t think I’ve ever had to pay for swap packages. I think it’s when they can see that it’s a business package, and they have really started cracking down on that. Out of my last four orders from 52teas, I’ve had to pay import fee on three of them. It’s not really funny anymore.
I might consider going along with your suggestion of having somebody else be the middle man in the future. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve done that. :) Alas, right now there is also the other thing that’s stopping me. That wedding… :) (Priorities. Do we really need them?)
