Thanks for the coupon code, Shang!

I bought a cup very similar to this about a week back at a local Asian market, and am curious how they compare. So I have two questions:

1) About how much tea can you brew in one of these cups? These look a little bigger than my 12 ounce cup, which really only holds 9-10 ounces of water (guessing) once you take the infuser into consideration.

2) The ceramic infuser insert in mine has holes on both the side and bottom. However, in your video it looked to me that yours had only holes in the bottom (just from how quickly Nick pulled it out). Are there holes in the side of yours as well, and his kung-fu just happens to be better than mine?

Thanks again!

Hi Dylan,

Thanks for the questions!

1. These hold 12 oz total, but about 10 oz of displaced tea similar to the cups that you purchased at the Asian market.

2. The filter has holes on the sides and the bottom. I will take a picture and send a link later this afternoon.

Thanks and let me know if I did not answer those questions fully!

Totally answers my questions, thanks Shang!

Dylan, not the best quality (we’re busy today at the shop!) but here is a quick picture I took of the holes in the filter: http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/l558/ShangTea/PorcelainFilter.jpg

There are three sets of these holes on the side of the filter and then the holes on the bottom as well.

And Angrboda we haven’t forgotten about you! We are hoping to get a Denmark region set up for you in our website so you can just order through there if you ever want some tea. Hopefully I can get that done in the next month.
