It seems that way…if we all agree, let’s get started. :)

Sounds great! Is everyone on board with the Google Docs idea?

Can you explain what it is again? I’m a little bit confused on how it will work.

@ Tea and Trees: “paste a digital copy to Google docs and copy www.thegoldennotebook.com? They left comments to each other in the actual text, so as you got to a spot, you could see who had already read there and what they thought…..”

Exactly! You could read the paper copy then go to the digital copy to leave comments if you want. Or we could just read it then discuss after?

So you are saying that we are following the same format as the girls from the golden notebook did? Sorry, I guess I’m confused as to how the goldennotebook website fits in to this!

The book will be posted to Google docs and while we are reading it when we can leave comments/notes to the doc. Others will be able to see them.

I’ll prob read it and then make comments on the site, I couldn’t imagine reading a book length work on my computer screen.

Hmm… so I seem to have broken Google Docs trying to paste the entire novel into a document haha. Please stand by! In the meantime, if you have a paper copy, start readin’!

Okay, I got it all pasted over! Note to self: Don’t copy and paste it all at once! If anyone wants to do the electric notes thing, message me your email address! If not, we can do one big convo after the book is over….
