I'm in love with genmaicha. Who makes the best?

I just ran out of my sample genmaicha and am ready to “invest”. Which retailer do you believe sells the best genmaicha?

I believe Den’s Tea does.

I concur! They also offer quite a few kinds, the extra green is particularly delicious. On the cheaper end, though, I do really love Uji no Tsuyu’s.

I also agree with the Extra Green!

I haven’t tried genmaicha, but I’m very curious about the genmaicha that TeaLet.com offers. They supposedly offer a high quality product that is sustainably sourced.

I’ve got very little experience, having only tried T2’s Genmaicha Sencha, but it really blew me away! Granted, international postage from Australia probably makes this one a little difficult for most people on here. :( Looks like I’ll have to try Den’s. Do they ship internationally? If not, I guess I can get my family in the US to send it over.

I don’t know if they do or not…I looked all over the site and could not find that info. I guess do a simple dummy order to see what shipping options are.

My favorite is Harney and Sons’ Matcha iri Genmaicha.

Never heard of this retailer! As a green tea lover I’ll be checking this place out for sure. Your review was very nicely written!

Thanks! They are an excellent retailer, I’m lucky enough to have one of their stores near my house, they serve all sorts of Japanese teas, as well as a nice Japanese version of “high tea” where you can get snacks like Matcha Waffles :)
