Selling some tea envelopes!

I’ve still got one flat rate envelope that I added (though I may add another).

Since that’s kind of US only and pricier, I’ve also got a couple smaller envelopes with less tea.

All are listed here: http://www.bonanza.com/booths/saturdaynightriot You don’t have to sign up to buy, I believe. And you pay via Paypal. I have no idea how I never heard of this site till a couple days ago.

Hope you guys can help me out, thank you!

Please note it will take me a little bit of time to get the envelope together for you especially if it’s the larger size. I’ve traded with tons of people on here so I think they can vouch for me :D

I ordered one! I’ve decided it will be my last tea purchase for a while—in fact, I was going to be serious about the hiatus starting this afternoon, but I have to support a fellow Steepster! Urgh, the excuses I use to buy tea. I hope it helps you out with textbook buying, I know how brutally expensive that can be.

Thank you so much! I got really lucky with one book, I bought it this summer and it’s used for a class I’m taking now too. For awhile Amazon was even offering back 94% of what I paid so the price really went up on it.

Helping someone out in two ways is a better excuse than any I have ever used for more tea, so there is also that!

Textbook woes are one of the worst parts of college. My bookstore had the worst buyback policy ever—barely 10% on some books! We’d often just sell to people taking the class after us haha, Amazon is so much better for textbooks.

I took Psych as my ‘science’ credit because I could use the textbook from a friend. Dead serious. Luckily I was an English major and got away with borrowing lots of books from the library, as long as I cited it all correctly. My first year was very expensive though, as the Foundation Year Programme at Kings has almost 60 books and you have to have the same translations/editions if you want to keep up. Not that I regret a minute of it!

I totally don’t need any more tea, but this is very tempting. How likely are you to honor requests. For instance, if I say that I want teas from 52Teas, DavidsTea, and Verdant, can that be accommodated? Could we make specific tea requests?

Also, how much tea (oz wise) do you estimate can fit into the smaller envelope? Thanks.

I’d definitely accomodate stuff like that, especially 52teas because I can’t get through 2 oz of one tea ever I don’t think. Same with most of the DT ones I have. Verdant I’d probably only give a cup or two worth because 1 oz is more my size but I don’t have time now to sit down with them like I really want to and I’d rather they not sit.

I think I can probably fit 8-10 oz in there, that’s why I wish these 3 × 3 bags I ordered would come in already so I can find out easily.

Thanks for the response. I saw you had Butiki teas on your list as well. Are you willing to part with those as well? Or is that a one or two cups worth like Verdant?

momo said

Probably the same as Verdant, though after realizing how many greens from Verdant I have those I’d probably give a bit more. I’ve drank more of the Butiki ones compared to them too.

Okay. I’m compiling a list right now of all the teas I want, including my high priority ones. Now I’m trying to decide what pack I want to buy. LOL.

How should I send you the final list?

momo said

hahaha totally understand, when you pay it should give you an option to add a note but if it’s too long for paypal to handle, my email is saturdaynightriot[at]gmail[dot]com

Alright – I caved and bought the big box. I also sent you an e-mail. Let me know if there’s any issues.

Have you tried renting textbooks instead? that’s all I do, saves a lot.

momo said

I’ve looked at it every time but I can always buy a book and save 40-60% in the end so I never do it. I also end up keeping books often if there’s a lot more I want to study up on in there, like the one Amazon would have given me $94 back for…if I didn’t need it again for this semester I would probably not have even given it up for the credit!

Just wanted to bump this thread. I recently ordered a big tea envelope from Amanda, and WOW – I got a lot of teas. I picked out a bunch of stuff from her cupboard and after waiting patiently, I got my awesome package. All I have to say is – WOW, that’s a lot of tea. I counted at least 50 samples.

Here’s a picture. Just ignore my tacky wallpaper ;)
