DAVIDsTEA Fall Collection
Ok so DAVIDsTEA just made the teaware of my dreams! Trees on tea cups and tea pots? Done. I am about to spend more money than I ever have before on teaware and must also get the fall tea collection ofcourse.
I just started sampling their teas thanks to kindness and swaps on steepster, and this will be my first time actually buying from them so I’m pretty excited.
I was wondering though, does their holiday teaware become permanent in their store? Assuming the forest mug and pot is holiday related.. Has anyone seen this teaware from them before?
I know the website says the tea collection is just here for a short time, but that does that mean they release the same tea collection again next fall or do they make a new one each year?
I want the bear mug SO MUCH. Your best bet might be to ask them. I know the space invaders perfect tea mug is online only, so I imagine seasonal ones wouldn’t be permanent either, since the first time I saw that one was last winter.
This year’s collection is 3 new teas, Pumpkin Chai was already available online and it looks like the Banana Nut Bread one was brought back from the past. Lately now they make seasonal collections permanent online only, so I guess that means the other 4 will stick around there too come winter.
So they’ll probably repeat the same sort of trend with that I’d guess.
You should get your bear mug! I’m trying to buy it all but it keeps saying the fall tea collection is unavailable so I can’t check out. :(

I would get the fox mug for me since I see foxes the most around here. I would get the hedgehog one for Dad to remind him of Harold the hedgehog. (camp mascot overseas)
OK so are we talking about seeing the Bear and fox mug before cues i don’t see them and I want them lol

They are pretty neat, and the hedgehog is definitely cute!
They hid them away quite well in there, you’d think they’d be with the fall collection but you have to go searching in what’s new!
I definetly want the bear mug. I do believe most of their teaware ends up going away after the season but they keep most of the teas online only.
Their pumpkin chai is one of my favs so I definetly need at least 100g of that and I can’t wait to try the banana bread one.
I don’t remember seeing the present fall teaware last year. But I had just started getting into tea so everything was very overwhelming.
They change it up – If something is extremely popular you may see it come back but in the past the teaware changes every season and year. Of course, now they do the online only thing for some stuff, so that makes it easier to obtain but I don’t think everything is guaranteed to be online after they’ve moved on to winter and then spring.
I am excited, yet disappointed by the banana nut bread. I’m not a big fan of non-tea blends, and thought davids could make an awesome flavored black tea :(
Now on to find a good banana bread tea ……. Maybe Frank @ 52teas has something up his sleeve! If not, he would be the perfect guy to come up with something delicious.

Unfortunately, their teaware changes up frequently, and nothing is guaranteed to stay or come back. :( I missed the Space Invaders mug when it was in-store because I assumed it would be there another time, no problem. WRONG! So in regards to their teaware, my general advice would be BUY NOW.

I never do this, but I just went all out and bought all the forest teaware and fall tea collection. Hopefully I don’t regret spending the needed money… and I hope its awesome when it comes!

I’ve waited ages to see them get their gift cards working on the website. Looks like that’s still not a functional option.
yeah, I remember on Boxing day they put all the seasonal stuff on sale and I went nuts and bought a bunch of space invader tins. After that, I didn’t see them in stores.
Sad that Mom’s Apple Pie didn’t come back this fall (and probably some are sad about Buttercream not coming back either). I think the bubble tea cups with the trees inside are super cute!
I’m waiting for reviews of Toasted Marshmellow, see what tea of the month is for September, then I’ll do an order.
OMG I couldn’t help myself i bought Carrot cake and Banana Bread and the Pumpkin Chi OMG cant wait!!!!!!
Carrot Cake ROCKS – a cupboard essential IMO. Just be careful about brewing since it has an oolong base!
I couldn’t decide what I wanted so I ended up getting the Fall Sample Pack, so excited! I already had a bunch of things in my cart and had almost placed an order with them earlier that morning. I’m so glad I hesitated or else I would be kicking myself over it!
is the fall sample pack different than the collection? I assume not since I can’t find a sample pack..lol

Hahaha probably. I’ll be down there at the beginning of October for a wedding, I can’t wait for it to still be 90..just like when I was there in February!
I’m pretty far south too (but you have me beat by a couple hundred miles). Ah, the joys of Florida in August :(

I think it’s inside. Or I should also say I hope it’s inside haha. We’re flying down 2 days early since it’s my boyfriend’s brother getting married, so I figure there has to be time for tea. I’ll try to find out more and I’ll message you!
But the south is famous for it’s tea! :p I’m in southern Georgia if it makes you feel better. 103 heat index here lately… yay..
@Meowattack oh wow 103.. I’ve been lucky I guess because I still go to the park for my lunch hour and as long as I don’t move too much, I won’t melt. :)
Hundreds of acorns were falling from the Live Oak trees today, indicating that “Fall” is near, yet its still near 90 degrees lol :/
Yeah, the heat index is unbearable. I wouldn’t mind the heat so much if it wasn’t humid as sin outside. I break a sweat letting the dog out at 6am or so. Having an excuse for iced tea year round is nice though. :p
