Disapointment in a tea and in Service

Has anyone ever bought a tea and COMPLETELY hated it!?
I smelled this tea From Voila in Frederick called Garden Fantasy Black and I guess Since it was so crowded in there and I felt like I was being pushed out the door I just ended up getting it and another which I have not tried yet and also am not sure about. also I want to say it was the owner was very pushy and sorta rude cues she kept hoovering over me even though there were lots of other people, and then when I made the simple request that the label be placed on the top of the can Instead of the bottom so i could see it in my drawer she told me no that they were already made .. instead of accommodating a Customer who has bought there3 times in the last month! IDK if this is a Bad experiences or really Awfuller tea. What makes this Harder is I have to contact the company for the Notes so I can even see if someone els might like it on here.

Please tell me im not the only one who has Felt this way!

I hate buying TAZO at starbucks. They know nothing about it, I mean they specialize in coffee, but if you sell a product you should have knowledge.
I’ve only once ever not like a tea I purchased, I mentioned it in passing the next time I was at DT and they volunteered to return it for me. I never did though, it’s still on my shelf.

I have yet to have that happen to me in any of the tea shops/stores that I’ve been to, thank the gods. (Pushy sales people that is.) Have you been to this place before? If so, how was it then? As for the tea, how many times have you tried it before deciding you didn’t like it? I try giving a tea about 2-3 times before deciding I don’t like it, I mean maybe the temp needs adjusting, or steep time, or even just not the right tea for that moment.

I got the Ingredients and i THINK Its because there is Rose in it, Funny enough i love rose Turkish delights but For some reason Rose in tea just dues not work for me :(

You’ve been there three times in the last month… have they all been similar experiences? If so, I’d take my money elsewhere. Buying tea shouldn’t be stressful. Heck, buying anything shouldn’t be stressful. You’re the customer, you have the POWAH!

Well funny thing is the other two times were great But the owner was not there! And i cant just drive by and see if she is there cues parking in a parking deck and walking back would be very annoying and a waist of my time. My poor sister in law had to leave the store cues she was getting shoved around by people. i think it was all around a bad day to be in this particular tea shop maybe Saturdays are a NO NO! and sadly enough i think its really an owner being to pushy for sales.

re: buying from Starbucks/coffee shops in general, when you go to a coffee shop for a cup of tea it’s often worth checking what brands they do, as the personnel rarely know (or care) about it and how to brew it. For example, in Costa Coffee they tend to use Twinings (good to know if you’re not a fan of the new Earl Grey ‘with a hint of lemon’) whereas in Caffe Nero; in Pret they use their own pyramid Teapigs-style silk whole-leaf teabags, etc. I wouldn’t ever recommend getting a green tea in a coffee shop either; it’ll almost always get scalded.

I had a bad experience at a local tea shop by me too.
Everyone gave it such rave reviews, but the service was just bleh. Maybe it was because i had my 2 young kids with me? (they are very well behaved and we sat outside) They gave me and my mother such an attitude when we asked questions, maybe it was because they didnt know anything about the teas because they just repackage them?
It stinks stores have to be like that. Your doing them a favor buying locally, but with service like that, i’ll take my $$ elsewhere!

LOL. I would write a letter to them saying exactly that and announcing it somehow, like here, facebook, see if a local newspaper would do an article. Sometimes people don’t realize how invasive and rude that is…..if they clue in, they might be in business longer.
