Tea "Clubs". Are they worth it?

I have been really interested in joining/ subscribing to a tea club. But I’ve found that a lot of them are fairly expensive. Has anyone who has been, or is currently in one satisfied? I drink a fair amount of tea every day and I would like to try something new.

Well, I am an active subscriber to 52Teas – I receive all of their weekly teas sent to me on a monthly basis – and that subscription is definitely worth it. I know it seems expensive at first glance but if you do the math, you’re actually saving a bit of money in the long run and the best part is that I don’t have to worry about the tea selling out before I manage to order it. I am seldom disappointed with his teas, so this has turned out to be a very worthwhile investment for me.

I was a member of the Global Tea Taster’s Club (I understand that this will be relaunched soon, but, I am not entirely sure), and I thought that club was worth it too. It brought to my door many different teas that I might not have been able to try otherwise because many of them are not available worldwide.

I guess it’s just a matter of what you’re looking for. I understand that Verdant Tea’s club is pretty awesome too… and given my knowledge of Verdant Tea’s quality and exceptional line of teas, I’d say that is worth it also.

Aloha, the bi-monthly Global Tea Taster’s Club is active, but it has been transferred to a new tea company in Hawaii called Tealet. We have a new variety of teas that are ready to be sent to your door from Japan, India, and Hawaii, you can sign up on our website: http://www.tealet.com/
We’ll have a new exciting variety of teas ready for the holidays in December :)
