NaNoWriMo 2012 - who's in?
I know there are several writers among the tea drinkers here, so I’m hoping to have a NaNoWriMo group! For those who don’t know, November is National Novel Writing Month! It’s a 30 day marathon to get down the first draft of 50,000 words or more of your own novel. I thought about participating for a couple of years, & last year I finally went for it! So I have this year’s outline lined up, more or less, & I’m sure my tea drinking will rise to new heights, as I type on my laptop, laughing, crying, & babbling incoherently to myself, while working on this year’s masterpiece.

I just realized I don’t remember what my name there, LOL! Probably HarpSinger. Tomorrow I’ll have to find my list of names & passwords, cuz I can’t remember my password either (good thing I keep a list on my desk).
It’ll be my 4th year trying, and I’m hoping to win for the 3rd time!

I’m going to be doing unofficial NaNoWriMo! I’m already working on a book but it’s going slowly, so I am going to really push myself to get a ton done in November. Of course you’re supposed to start from scratch on the NaNoWriMo novel so I won’t be updating progress to their site or anything.
Oh well, we don’t care, you can hang with us anyway! My story from last year is still in rough draft form, and I toyed with the idea of doing a rewrite as well this year, but I’ve got another one that’s been waiting to be written for years too, so I’m gonna focus on it this time.
Not me! I did it in July, but I’ve got too much going on at school. Also, I’m too much of a poet to handle one story for so long. I’ve got commitment issues. :)
You remembered! :) It’s coming. My professor is in Europe until the end of October, so it’s kind of been on hold – I’ve added in a few scenes and rewritten a few others, but it’s been on the back burner until he gets back.
We’ll have auditions in mid-November, and once we’ve cast it and figured out exactly how many people we have and who we have, that’s when we /really/ get into the rewrites and edits. When we have a finished script, I’ll send it to you if you want!
