Which teas should I get?

Hi, I’m new to this whole tea thing. But I decided to give it a try. I’m about to order a few teas off of Davids and I managed to cut my choices down to 9. But I dunno which one they all sound so good, I need to cut it down to 4. So which ones are the best?

Read my lips
Pumpkin Chai
Red Velvet Cake
Organic Stormy Night
Birthday Cake
Santa’s Secret( I need this one)
Love Tea#7
Toasted Marshmallow
Ice Cream Cake

Personally, I’d definitely get Pumpkin Chai and Read My Lips. They’re so popular, and absolutely delicious. However, if you’re getting Santa’s Secret, it’s a bit similar to Read My Lips. I likely wouldn’t get both.

I was not a fan of either Stormy Night or Toasted Marshmallow. They were just “ok”. And of the cake teas, my personal preference is Birthday Cake, though it’s a rooibos. Very mapley/creamy/sweet. Ice Cream Cake was ok as well. I didn’t care for Red Velvet, however.

Love Tea #7 I honestly… can’t remember… I know I’ve tried it, and still have some, but I can’t remember what it was like. I think I did like it… strawberry black?

It was strawberry black. Thanks so much you really helped me make up my mind. If I really like these I can foresee myself making a tea budget just like I did for yoga. Lols.

Definintely Red Velvet Cake and Pumpkin Chai

Toasted Marshmallow isn’t bad – I don’t regret ordering it for something fun but probably won’t reorder until next year.

I have a sample of Read my Lips and it is so minty that I can’t even stand the smell! I’d skip this one for the first go round unless you love mint.

I really liked Love Tea #7, but the rest of them I haven’t tried or didn’t care for.

Of the ones listed, I would go for Read My Lips or Santa’s Secret because I love them. Unfortunately I don’t care for the cake teas (stevia is apparently yucky) and the others all have an ingredient I’m not fond of like pumnpkin or coconut. I will say that is you do like pumpkin, Pumpkin Chai gets amazing reviews every year, this is the third year it has been re-blended.

Also, I know it’s not on your list but Oh Canada is superb if you like rooibos tea. Some of the mates are good as well, I really like Honeybee and Chocolate Rocket.

I forgot – Love Tea # 7 can be pretty aggressive, but tastes just like strawberry cream filled chocolates to me, if that helps you want it more or less.

Might want to check out the sampler packs, I think the Sweet Indulgence has most of those selections, that way you can try out the teas and not have to much of it on hand if you don’t like, and your not spending as much. Enjoy!

I agree- get samples. If you hate any of them you won’t have a lot of it sitting there reminding you of the money you wasted. And you can buy several samples from a variety of retailers.
