I also am not as active as many here, but I have been here for for 3 years. Wow, I can’t believe it been that long? Seems like I found this place only yesterday.
Dec 2009, so just about 3 years! Though I’ve only been more active in the last few months!
My earliest tasting note states that it was three years ago. But I don’t know when I actually started posting here. I became a member of Steepster a few months or so … maybe even longer than a few months … before I started posting or became familiar with it. I became a member to enter into that amazing giveaway that they had (didn’t win – bummer!) and then, I just sort of came over here and started exploring…
Look on your dashboard next to your avatar, it’ll say when you joined. I miss the 3 year mark by 5 months :(
It shows that I joined almost exactly 3 years ago. So, I guess the 3 years that it says for the tasting notes … is probably closer to 2 1/2 months or so…
@Rachel: It was a huge giveaway, with all sorts of teas and a teapot like this: http://joeyroth.com/sorapot/ I wanted that teapot. sigh But, really, if I were to think about it, would I use it? Probably not, unless I’m brewing a blooming tea or something. It would be something I’d display. So, it’s not something I’d buy for myself … but in a giveaway, I’ll be happy to win it! :)
In other words, the $250 that it would cost to buy this teapot, it was better spent to buy my Breville One-Touch … because I use that baby every single day, many times a day.
