Dupe for American Tea Room’s Brioche?

I find myself craving ATR’s Brioche, which is sadly no longer available since the company closed. Does anyone know of a good dupe or similar tea? Doesn’t have to be a black tea base (or even caffeinated) but I’m looking for that breakfast pastry vibe.

I’m fairly certain it’s Simpson & Vail’s Almond Sugar Cookie! And they have it cheap: https://www.svtea.com/Almond-Sugar-Cookie-Dessert-Tea0153/productinfo/T0854/

It’s definitely similar, it’s been a long time since I’ve had Brioche though. :P

Ooh thanks for the tip!

“Brioche” was a catalog blend from wholesale company Wollenhaupt, called “Candied Almond” (see here: https://www.wollenhaupt.com/en/product/candied-almond-1093603/ ) The wholesale company sells the tea in bulk to other, smaller teashops. Search the exact ingredient list (“Black Tea, almonds, cinnamon, safflower, flavoring”) on Google to find a variety of teashops carrying it under differing names, quantities, and price points.

S&V’s “Almond Sugar Cookie” is a very similar blend, but does differ slightly in ingredients (“Black teas, almonds, almond sugar cookie flavoring and safflower blossoms”)

Ok that’s some very specific knowledge and I love that a) you have it and b) you shared it. Thank you! I have some shopping to do…

Mastress Alita found this one for Dustin in a tasting note: https://www.theteasmith.com/products/almond-biscotti-black-tea.html
