That is odd. It might not be a bad idea to go into the bug forum and put a mention of that there just in case there is some code that needs fixing or something

Oh yeah, good idea. I’ll do that.

Welcome! Steepster is a great place, though in my experience, it won’t help you acquire less tea! What-Cha is a good well-rounded vendor, and probably easier on the wallet than Red Blossom. I think they have an Intro to Tea set if you’re just starting out.

Thank you! I placed an order with What-cha that is just now in California. I can’t wait for it to get here! I ordered a trio of their mystery teas. I thought about the starter set but I typically like to try a tea a handful of times to see if I like it and the prices for them are so reasonable, that I ordered the next size up on some of the intro varieties instead. What-cha is MUCH easier on the wallet than RedBlossom, lol. I’m going to have fun comparing a few varieties as well, to see if the experience matches the price difference.

Hey, I know I’m a little late to this party, but, what part of Oregon are you from? I live in Vancouver, WA!

Hi! I’m in Philomath, just next to Corvallis. (About 2 hours south of Pdx). We’re essentially neighbors!

Cool! Hello, Neighbor! I’m glad you found a place here on Steepster – it’s a very friendly community – and a great place to become familiar with new tea sources!

Yes it is! I checked out your site. Your blends sound yummy and interesting. I’ll have to place an order when I get bucks up again.

Thanks for checking out the site. I appreciate it! How much snow have you gotten there in Philomath? I think we got around 3 inches – and it’s actually stuck around. Usually, when it snows, it melts by the next day.

PamelaOry said

We barely got any! We feel robbed. Lol

So often when it snows heavily in surrounding areas – we usually get very little (sometimes none!) so it was kind of nice to see the snow – it was really beautiful as it fell – but the biggest surprise for us was that it’s stuck around as much as it has. Today, we saw much of it finally start to melt – but we still have some in our little area of the world.

Yeah, my kids are in Portland and they had a nice snow fall there too. They are students at PSU, and had a lot of fun on campus.
