New Teas *UPDATE* - Brown Sugar Marshmallow Latte White Tea/Houjicha Blend!

Hello, everyone!

I hope this message finds you well! I’ve been quite behind lately, due to teas needing tweaking as well as family issues that have kept me out of the tea studio for a while – but I’m working my butt off to get caught up!

I’ll update here with some of the new teas that have been added to the website as I get a little bit of time.

Brown Sugar Marshmallow Latte White Tea/Houjicha Blend – I love boba tea – LOVE it! This blend is my “dream” boba flavor, because none of the local boba places that I’ve found thus far offer Houjicha – and most do not offer white tea either. So I put those two teas together to form the base of this blend, then I added brown sugar essence plus some crystalized brown sugar candy (don’t worry, it’s vegan & gluten-free!) and instead of milk flavoring, I went with marshmallow, mostly because I love marshmallow!

The result is this fantastic blend – tasting like what I really want from a boba shop but have not yet found. This tea is fantastic iced (try it cold brewed) but it’s also amazing as a hot tea. YUM!

Blueberry Lemon Lavender Black Tea

My Ode to spring. I’ll be real: spring is not my favorite time of year for many reasons, but it mainly has to do with allergies (YUCK!) & of course, the weather gets warmer. If I had my say, it would stay autumn year round. :)

But apparently Nature has other ideas, so the best part about spring’s arrival (and soon to be departing, I guess! Time flies – whether or not you’re having fun!) anyway – the best part of spring is some of the delightful fruity flavors that come from spring (plus, lavender!) so, here is my spring celebration flavor. Bright lemony notes with lots of blueberry & lavender – all with the rich, flavorful black tea base of Assam & Yunnan.

Citrus Repose Green Rooibos/Chamomile & Lavender Blend -

A lovely blend of orange, lemon & lime blended with fruity green rooibos & chamomile & a hint of lavender – a delicious, relaxing blend! It’s bright, refreshing & pleasantly sweet.

Drunken Apricot Black Tea – I had recently received an amazing Yunnan Grown Assamica black tea. Upon tasting it, I noticed notes of stone fruit as well as brown sugar – and those flavors inspired this blend of apricots & peaches (peaches are here more as a friend to Apricot, not as a definitive flavor) – blended with a non-alcoholic brandy essence. This turned out so good!

Our Featured Reblend for March was:

Myrtle’s Tea House – this is a blend of black teas combined with strawberries, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg & a touch of bergamot! This is a customer favorite (and one I reblend every few years when Myrtle’s requests it!) It’s back now in very limited quantities!

Thank You For Your Support – I can’t tell you just how much it means to me!
