Bodum French Press - Multipurpose Tool

Pretty excited right now. My milk frothing wand finally died, and I had the biggest latte craving ever (and what’s a latte without foam, right?) I started to think back to the last time I made a tea with my Bodum that contained white chocolate or yogurt drops, and remembered that when I pushed the plunger down, it left a light layer of foam on top, so decided to test out a theory.

I put about 1 cup of skim milk (someone dumped out the last of my oat milk, grr!) into my 1L press, popped it in the microwave to heat up, pulled it out, and put the plunger/lid on. holding the lid down with one hand, I used the other to press and pull the plunger handle, all the way up and all the way down, and after a couple minutes of plunging, I had a decent froth going! Once the froth started forming, it was no time at all until I had a really good foamy top. Took the lid off and gave it another 30 second heat before adding it to my Cocoa Canella and Matcha mix, making the tastiest latte I’ve ever managed to make at home.

Pretty excited, lattes are usually one of those things I have to go out and have someone else make for me, because I’ve never had very good luck making them myself, but now that I know that my Bodum makes a pretty epic frother, I see a LOT more lattes in my future!!!
