I received TWO birthday surprises in the mail today – 1 from Cavocorax and the other from Dexter perfect pick me up for the crappy work week that this has been! Super excited to dig in to both! thank you guys!!

Hello, friends. I’m new, so I thought I would post somewhere. I only just heard about swaps which is really cool, but I haven’t done any yet. Maybe later.
Yesterday I got several things in the mail. First two handmade glass tea cups with saucers and a pound of chamomile. Honestly, I don’t know why I got so much. Needless to say, I will be drinking a lot of chamomile tea. I also received several herbs in the mail; hibiscus, spearmint, lemon balm, and orange peel. Lastly, I got 8 oz of Assam and Rooibos, and 4 oz of Honeybush. So much tea. I’m brewing some now actually.
Wow, that is SO. MUCH. CHAMOMILE!!! lol
Luckily chamomile is good for lots of things, not just tea. :)

Got my shitload of Laoshan Black Chocolate Genmaicha from verdant!! Now I can have it whenever I want, yay!
Also, the most unexpected surprise box: an awesome friend (a non tea friend) was able to find I don’t know how, a matching cup to a Polish pot he noticed at my house last time he was here. The designs are all embossed. It’s beautiful. Looks so much better in person, but here’s a pic:

I don’t know yet schoompie – I got home and gt the dogs fed and I am so undecided about what tea I want to try to see if my taster is better. I have it narrowed down to WSYs and GO

SQUEALS!!! Guess what? I found my wee sample bag of SB and was gonna throw it out and I noticed there was still some IN it! I have enough for about a 6 oz cup – but it’s a Friday miracle. You Fairy Majiked it didn’t you?
Me too. I’m enjoying some with Sars and I am about to re-steep it if you can believe it :)

I got a package from Virginia! I’m just going to have to tell you what an amazing tea friend Virginia is. Except that I probably can’t because she is that awesome. She sent me a whole mountain of tea, first of all! Way too many to list, but there’s Butiki, Whispering Pines, Tea Lux, Tea Vivre, David’s Tea, etc, etc. As I was looking through them, I kept thinking “Oh, I really wanted to try this one” with almost every single one :). So excited for all the tea! But here’s the kicker: she made me a custom Harry Potter perfect mug that combined the two Harry Potter mugs I’ve been wanting from Etsy!! HOW DID SHE KNOW? I literally almost cried. It’s my new favorite mug. Here are some pictures!

Got my small tealux order literally smooched and smashed into or tiny mailbox. This happens everytime it comes in a envelop instead of a parcel. :(

I’ve been going through a stressful time, and this was a wonderful pick me up today. As always I am humbled and awed by the caring, thoughtful gestures of my tea buddies. I really, truly, appreciate all of you.
