Official *What did you get in the mail today?* Thread!!!

6 different teas ordered hesitantly via eBay (haven’t tried them yet, but their appearance is very suspicious), along with a few bamboo tea saucers and some beautiful Gonfu tea cups (http://imageshack.com/a/img823/4722/bv51.jpg)! After my eBay purchase I’m thinking I’ll just stick to the more reputable sites from now on, Mandala Tea, Adagio, Yezi Tea, etc. That being said, I’ve already placed an order on Mandala for: Milk Oolong (can’t get enough of it!), 2013 Dehong Mao Cha, Valley Peak Green Tea, and Wild Arbor Buds!

Last night, I received a big box of teas from Adagio included in it were my fandom samplers of Firefly and Harry Potter :-)

mandala’s “perfect glass teapot” is finally back in stock—it’s strange how impossible it’s been to find a good 2 cup capacity glass teapot with spout brake, which is the perfect size because usually i’m making a cup and someone else wants one too, but no more than that as we’ll probably just resteep if we want more—and i needed to restock special dark and the lincang, and the lincang blows me away so much i sprang for a phatty cake, yum. got awesome free samples (year of the dragon and a new mao cha they just pressed!) and a sweet, lengthy note, so wonderful.

and shang, woo hoo! silver needle king, you are ALL MINE and you are going to make this spring amazeballs. tangerine blossom too. plus they have my favorite kind of tea clip, which i first discovered from taiwan tea crafts but shang’s come in longer sizes which i need (the TTC ones are a little too short for stuff like lupicia or steven smith bags). they sent me an awesome sample too, a chrysanthemum white i haven’t had. and handsigned the invoice as well. tea vendors are the nicest.

and i thiiiiink my harney samples are supposed to arrive tonight too via UPS. i’ve wanted to try their bohea for ages and it finally went back in stock, and boychik got me fixated on the nahorhabi full leaf assam so there’s that too. so much delicious tea, it motivates me to kick this cold’s butt so i can enjoy it by the weekend!

The other day I got a great swap from Faith but have been so busy with school that I forgot to mention it.

Today an AMAZING package arrived from Dustin. Now I have even more Lupicia teas! Super excited :)

I got home late last night to find two packages of tea in my mailbox. I received a nice package from MissB that I haven’t had time to do more than glance at, but it looks like it’s full of all kinds of delicious treasures.

I also got a tin full of jasmine blossoms from The Tea Spot. There weren’t any jasmine flowers in my jasmine petal tea, and they immediately worked with me to resolve the problem. I love quick and cheerful customer service like that.

OMG! Ceylon Star sent me a package all wrapped up in RAINBOWS! It has tea from him, as well as tea from Sil, and tea from Sil for MissB. SO MANY TEA!

I also got a Red Leaf Tea order yesterday (cheesecake and caramel), and, uhh, nail polish this week. AKA, what I spent April’s tea budget on.

<3 So many nice things for a kinda crappy week.
