Share your in store purchases/stories thread!

Hey, So i do most of my tea shopping in store and I know that a lot of people also frequent stores. I thought it’d be nice for us to have our own thread for those purchases.
I just got the first 100g of Cocomint Cream that my DavidsTea has had in stock in almost two months. And I can stop smelling it. What do you get lately?

I bought 100g of a rooibos blend JUST because it was called “Rainbow” at a shop about 10 minutes from where I keep Java. Turns out it’s delicious! (Strawberry/Raspberry/Amaretto/Red Rooibos)

Harney and Sons, because they have a great shop in Soho!

2 oz of Paris for myself, 2 for a gift.
2 oz of Hot Cinnamon Spice for myself, 2 for a gift.
2 oz of Indian Spice, a nice classic chai.

Teavangelical: is the cocomint cream as heavenly as it sounds?

it’s so so so heavenly

My last in store purchase was at the Tea Embassy. It’s in a really cute creaky old house in downtown Austin. The staff is really mellow, helpful and not pushy at all! Such a refreshing change compared to some other stores I have been in. One gal even remembered my little daughter’s name from when I was in there the month before!

I went home with a bag of Lemon Chiffon Rooibos (which seems a near match to Della Terra’s Lemon Chiffon), Strawberry Cream Green, Pumpkin Spice Rooibos and Bavarian Chocolate Black.

The beau brought me home 50 grams each of Cold 911, Wild Black Yunnan and Super Berry from Davids Tea last weekend. He’s a keeper! :)

I’m crazy about their paris. It’s my favorite tea right now. Drink it daily.

Yeah, Paris is fantastic! I always have a lot on hand, most teas I keep in 2oz or less quantities but I blow through Paris crazy fast.

Your teaware is adorable ♡
I don’t suppose they have an online store?

Apparently they do! http://www.daisojapan.com/Default.aspx?

Edit: and looks like you are buying in bulk, so like 3 teapots a box.

San Francisco mall tea shopping! The Westfield Mall has a Lupicia, DavidsTea and a Teavana, haha.

I picked up…
Lupicia: Earl Grey, Melon Oolong (I was disappointed that ALL of their chestnut tea varieties were out of stock!)
DavidsTea: English Rose, Pumpkin Chai, Persian Apple (they told me that all of these were going off the shelves in another two weeks)
Teavana: yes, I braved Teavana to buy a super cute bird mug that I saw online http://www.teavana.com/tea-products/tea-cups-mugs/infuser-mugs/p/cardinal-infuser-mug
