Tea with licorice taste

What is the best one you have tried? (that’s still available)
I’m on a, seemingly, never ending search for a flavourful licorice tea. I’m not fussy as to type of tea, or price. It’s just got to be flavourful!
Thanks in advance, from BoxerPapa

I have a large amount of black licorice flavoured black tea. It is not labelled well (I bought it at a tea shop and is was just labelled as licorice), but I believe it is from the metropolitan tea company. It is very distinctly black licorice flavour, more bitter than sweet. I can send you some if you like. Just PM me.

I just tried DavidsTea Ceylon Star….it has chocolate and licorice notes. Really nice!

That definately sounds like my cup of tea! I have been dying to try something form Davidstea but they have so much! Maybe I will start with the Ceylon Star. I also think the Oh Canada looks interesting-kinda fun!

Iron Silk Puerh, Very Super Good, Real Licorice taste not Licorice Candy taste :) It’s available from a few places out there, I strongly recommend it.

Look for teas with anise in the ingredients. I haven’t tried Ceylon Star, but it smelled fantastic. Uh…Yogi teas has Egyptian Licorice.

I have not tried it yet, but Red Leaf has a Licorice Matcha, but it seems to be based on the candy.

Ceylon Star tastes nothing like licorice to me, although it has anise, I would go for something like Bravissimo, holy licorice in that one!

We do have bravissimo & ceylon star. There seems to be a few I’d like to try though!
