I’m so excited… Placed an order with Butiki and one with Tea Trekker for a bunch of samples. Can hardly wait… Might pick something up at the local David’s to hold me over.

Seems there are quite a lot of suggestions already. Just add a few for your reference. : )
If you’re looking for Bao Zhong, I’d recommend Mantra Tea’s Osmanthus scented bao zhong from a heritage tea farm in Taiwan. The farmer is the 4th generation of a traditional bao zhong making master and he has won numerous tea contests. Also, Formosa Rose High Mountain Oolong suits girls very much. : ) They are easy to brew without astringent taste at all. Thanks, but I’ve discovered I am not a fan of flower-scented teas. So, no floral teas for me, even though I am a woman. I would suggest you not make generalizations like that if you don’t want to offend female customers. Most of us do not like to be called “girls” either.

Glad that you have found types of teas you like. My suggestion of scented teas is not completely related to gender. I simply want to share this oolong tea because of its taste without astringency. Sorry if you feel offended by “girls” I used. In Chinese culture, we use this term to give more respect. I’ll try my best to express in English. Thanks for your comments.

I’m sure it’s great tea! I wasn’t too offended, since I assumed it was a cultural difference, but yes, you should be careful because some women are VERY offended by the term “girl”.

A lot of people love your tea, and I look forward to trying out an order from you sometime soon!

Mantra tea – have you considered offering sample sizes of your teas? I am very interested in your Rose Oolong, but I usually will not purchase more than 25g of a tea that I have never tried before, and I prefer to only buy 10g samples of teas that I haven’t tried.

Rachel J-
Thanks for your understanding. = )

Dinosara-
Thanks a lot for the good idea. We have whole loose-leaf Rose High Mountain Oolong packed in pyramid tea bags. Will arrange with the team to add more sample options.

It sounds like you’re not into blends so much, but just in case: Della Terra’s Earl Grey Cream, with the tiniest bit of milk added, is super smooth. Like. After I had a cup today for hours afterward I kept running my tongue over my teeth because they felt so silky. Drinking it’s like bathing your mouth in buttery-soft silkiness.

Sounds yum! You’re right, I haven’t really gotten into flavored teas so much this time around (though I love Butiki’s flavored teas). However, I used to love Earl Grey back in the day, so I might try this one. Thanks!
