My Butiki order arrived!

I just have to tell you guys what happened… So, as of this morning I knew my Butiki order was “Out for Delivery”, so I’d be receiving it today.

Around 2pm I checked my lobby, and I didn’t see any boxes, so I forlornly went back up to my apartment. 30 minutes later, I checked the usps tracking page, though, and it said the package had been delivered at 1!

So, back down I went, thinking, “Surely the box didn’t fit inside my mailbox?!” I opened the mailbox, and there it was. But the box was too big to get it out! The mail carrier had dropped the box into the mailbox through the top (the way they access all the boxes at once), but the opening through which I had to remove my mail was too narrow to get the box out! How would I get my precious, precious tea???

I had to go back upstairs, grab an x-acto knife, go back down and hack my way into the box, take out the tea, cut the box up some more (still in my mailbox this whole time, mind you), and only then, finally, I got the box out of the mailbox.

D’oh! It was such a drama to get my delicious, delicious tea!
