Where to Get Sample Varieties?

I’ve heard a lot of you mention trying teas from different sample/variety packs, and this interests me because I know these aren’t available at local grocery stores, etc. Where is your favorite place to order these from? Has your experience with them been good/bad? Any feedback is appreciated :)

You could start off with the 5 for $5 teas at Verdant (their site is down right now though). It includes generous portions of Laoshan black, Laoshan green, hand picked Tieguanyin, Yunnan White Jasmine, and Shui Jin Gui Wuyi Oolong. It also comes with a code for $5 off your next order.

I also like the try me packs from Della Terra because you can pick which 5 samples you would like. You also get a free sample with any order you place.

My experience with both companies has been top notch. They respond to emails quickly if you have a question or problem.

Thanks for the referral, Short Sorceress! We’re back up and running. :D

We’ve also got a coupon all weekend to thank everyone for your support and patience. Apply the coupon
UPTIME15
in your cart, and get 15% off any teas you by in the store. Unfortunately, the only thing it won’t apply for is 5 for 5 deal (and subscriptions), but it will work on any of the 7g sample sizes we offer for all of our teas.

Thank you!

I absolutely love your teas, and give referrals as often as possible, I just don’t get to order from you very often. Glad to hear the site is back up and running and thank you for giving us a coupon code. Will it work on the Hand Picked Autumn Tieguanyin that is on clearance?

Yes, it will take 15% off the whole order, minus any 5for5 or subscriptions. :)

Thank you so much for the support! We definitely wouldn’t be able to do it without tea lovers who share their favorite brews with their friends.

Den’s Tea offers a green tea sampler, with five different teas, for $3, no shipping fee. IMO, it’s a great introduction to Japanese greens.

The Persimmon Tree does a nice job with samplers. You get to pick
five samples for $5. The shipping is free. You get about 4 to 5 cups of tea from a sample size. (I just had some of their chocolate banana rooibos tea and it’s delicious!)

Teavivre has nice sample packs as well. You get two 7g packs of a variety of teas. Ie. green tea sample pack has 5 different teas, 2×7g each. They also have white, black, oolong sampler packs. www.teavivre.com
Harney and Sons does sample sizes of almost all of their teas. They are cheap, but shipping can be expensive if you live outside of the US. www.harney.com
Butiki also has some sample packs. I have not tried their sample packs but Butiki teas are excellent. www.butikiteas.com

I forgot about Whispering Pines Tea Company. Most samples are $2 with shipping. (Some are $2.50) Or he has a combo pack for $10. You get about 4-5 cups per sample.

Adagio has samples of almost all of their teas. For $2-3 you usually get 10 cups. (However, their “masters” samples are more.) You do have to pay for $3.75 for shipping, but if you hunt around you can find a $5 coupon for your first purchase.

If anyone is putting in their first order to Adagio, feel free to follow/message me for one of those $5 off coupons. I have a bunch. Lol.
