Making iced tea for the first time today!! Yay!!

So, I’ve had Tazo Passion Iced Tea for awhile, but I’ve never owned a pitcher until today. My sister helped me understand the directions. I Googled some measurements, and was able to use my Hello Kitty Hot Water Kettle. I just realized that on one side of the pitcher is in quarts/gallons, the other in Litters. I boiled some water, and let the tea steep for 5 minutes, the aroma is amazing! I added cold water to it. I’ve got it in the fridge right now to cool. I have ice cubes freezing in the freezer. I will write a review in about an hour. I can’t believe how easy this is! Definitely worth the cost of the pitcher – about 4 dollars from Krogers.

I make iced tea two different ways.

The way you described above. Brew a strong tea, add water/ice to dilute, and chill.

Or just brew a normal strength tea, you do not have to dilute it, and chill it.

Either way, iced tea is delicious!!

I did add some ice :)

I’m cold-brewing some flavored black tea in a vacuum flask/Thermos type thing overnight. The peach-apricot flavor was very light when I tried it hot, so I’m hoping this method will draw it out a bit more.

Iced tea is such a treat in the summer heat. That pitcher is well worth the $4!!

I totally agree.

I did find a tea for cold-brews yesterday. It’s fruity, and therefore better cold.

Mine is fruity too. I will have to remember to add sugar when it is still hot.
