cheating on your drank

I’m a seasonal coffee drinker. I enjoy it during the late autumn and through the winter. The rest of the year my coffee drinking is random at best.

Hahaha, I love the title of this thread :)
I was a coffee-head before getting into tea, and still drink a cup about once a week.

I’m an oddity. I hate coffee. My Mum drinks several pots a day (and always has) but I never liked the smell or the taste. While my brother liked to steal her cold black coffee and drink it, I had a special box of tea that no-one else in the house touched.

Tea is a natural fit for me. I don’t get any caffeine boost or fall so I never worry about that stuff. Accordingly, I don’t force coffee into myself. It’s nice to drink what I want, when I want, but sometimes I wish I could get some pep from a hot beverage! :)

I’ve never liked coffee. I don’t think I’ve actually ever drank a cup of my own. I’ve had the occasional sips of other people’s and I’ve even had to make it at certain jobs or for my grandmother, but it has never appealed to me. I’m convinced that if I made it through college without heavy duty caffeine, I can do anything!

I never really liked coffee. I gave it a shot in my night shift working days, but never got into it. If I was going to have any coffee, it would be Tim Hortons.

These days it’s mostly tea. If it’s not tea, it’s water during workouts. When I’m out, I’ll bring my own tea so I don’t have to suffer drinking crappy tea. Maybe once a week I’ll have some Crystal Light when I feel too lazy to make tea.

Water is my true love. I drink substantially more water than tea (because I like my tea hot and still need lots of cold liquid). Mmm.

It really depends. I used to drink a lot of coffee (especially in the morning), until my mom turned me on to Adagio Teas’ mocha nut mate. The taste is striking similar to that of coffee and it pretty much fueled my decision to make the switch a few years ago. If you have yet to give mocha nut mate a try, I highly recommend it (for the coffee drinker, no matter what size, in all of us)!

Hahaha, “cheating on your drank” I love it!

I actually really like the taste of coffee, especially a good cappuccino, but I very very rarely drink it. I don’t like how it makes me feel- jittery, etc. I don’t get that much from teas, and I even enjoy yerba mate and guayusa on occasion :)

I have tried. I just can’t stand the smell or aftertaste of coffee. Mountain Dew on the other hand I could drink non-stop if tea were not so appealing.

I don’t drink coffee at all. This year I have had two coffee’s but they were not by choice, first one was a cold can of iced coffee that my mother bought me (without thinking bless her) and the second was in a restaurant which was a wrong order (asked for tea and got coffee but didn’t think it was worth complaining).

If I do stray away from tea then I drink either plain water, wine or whiskey/bourbon. Occasional beer too but I don’t drink alcohol often at all.

I have to start my day with coffee. I don’t feel right if I don’t. But 2 cups and that’s it. I used to drink it all day, but now that I’ve discovered how delicious loose leaf tea is, my coffee intake has drastically reduced.
