A Word About Teavana

What’s your favorite tea right now?

so far, i’ve been drinking tea from rishi. they’re tea is really good. i’m getting a few samples from teavivre. i heard their tea is good quality, yet affordable.

I prefer Adagio. Teavana is great for sucking newbies into the world of tea, but after that… not much else. Most tea drinkers I speak to (especially here on the East Coast) are either Teavana or Tazo refugees.

Personally, I’ve never had a problem with either of the local Teavana’s I’ve been to. The only reasons why I havn’t been there lately is because:
A.) I’ve tried all of the ones that I am interested in, (Majority of them flavored teas.)
B.) Recently been able to order with a credit card at various places (Like David’s Tea.)
C.) Thanks to tea give aways and buys from individuals combined with the one above, so that way get the chance to try out new stuff and save some money.

Would I buy there again? Probably. At the very least when they have their Heavenly Sale the day after Christmas.
Why would I still shop at Teavana’s:
1.) I like their tea concepts.
2.) There is one near one of my favorite places to grocery shop, (Whole Foods.) a few towns over. I’ve often combined the 2 trips.
3.) As convenient as it is to shop online for tea, I love walking into a tea shop and smelling all the lovely smells. I never would want to completely give that up.
4.) There are still teas there that I enjoy, but I stocked up last month with my favorites, and since I’ve been getting other new teas (Listed in the other list.) Havn’t had to much of my Teavana stuff.
5.) Tea is pretty much my only hobby, well that and writing but writing doesn’t cost until publishing;) so I don’t mind spending alittle bit here and there at Teavana’s or somewhere else.
6.) Like I’ve mentioned, I have not had pushy sales people in my face at my local Teavana’s or the one near my Grandmother’s house, so I don’t get anxious when I go in there, (Minor anxiety issues.) The sales people are always nice, helpful, agreeable to let people browse. The ONLY thing they have done is the overpour, I wish they wouldn’t but I just smile and request they stick to the amount I request (2 ou is my usual.)

Last year they added a bunch new teas in Sept-Oct, so if they add more this fall I’ll probably go check them out
