How to reduce Caffiene in Black Tea

I have some Chai Tea bags but would like to reduce the caffiene content.

If I steep for 50 seconds, then pour off the water, and pour on new water, would that reduce the caffiene?

In general, the 50 second steep would not decrease the caffeine a whole lot. By the time you really reduced the caffeine, there would not be much tea left.
