Cooking with tea.

I’ve tried a few different ways of baking with tea, and my favorite is steeping it in the milk or butter that’s already included in almost any recipe. I’ve tried recipes that call for adding steeped tea or the contents of tea bags, but in my experience the former results in a watery batter and the latter doesn’t bring out much of the flavor.
