Help! Need advice - David's Tea

So, I’m relatively new to tea drinking and I was wondering how many oz are in one “cup of tea”

I have a 12oz mug and I’m wondering how much tea (1.5tsp per cup) I put in the infuser….. Is it the standard 250mL = 1 cup or??

Every tea company is different. I am not sure, but I think Davids Tea recommendations are for 6-8 oz. Some teas, especially straight teas are recommended for as small as 4 oz. Just play around and find what you like. I often only used 1 tsp for 16 oz, but that is just how I like my tea.

For David’s Tea, I usually use the recommended amount of tea (usually around a tsp. and a half, depending on the tea) for a 6 oz. cup of tea.

As demonstrated here, it looks like it depends on how you like your tea. I think I overleaf because I like a good strong brew, especially with black teas. I usually use 1.5 – 2 tsp per 12 oz. cup.

OK, then I have been over leafing but I’m enjoying it so, I’ll stick to doubling the dose ;)

Hey Cookie! Our steeping instructions are based on an 8oz cup.
